Mobile physical therapist treating a patient in their home in Florida.

500+ licensed physical therapists across 35+ Florida counties — and growing.

Practice on your terms.

Three things shape every contract in our clinician network — and you're in charge of all three.

Your schedule

Tell us your availability — days, time windows, weeks off — and we match you with nearby patients who fit them.

Your caseload

Choose your geography and how many visits you'll take each week. Scale up when you want more, scale down when you don't.

Your pay

Paid per visit. Add visits when it works for you; your pay scales with the work you accept.

Why PT Near Me is different

A focused referral pipeline — without the billing headache.

Auto-accident & personal-injury patients in Florida

We work almost exclusively with patients hurt in motor-vehicle crashes. That means physicians refer to us specifically because we know the Florida PIP world — and our clinicians get a steady stream of motivated patients who already have a treatment authorization and a reason to show up.

We handle the Florida PIP and auto-insurance billing on the back end. You don't chase claims, learn billing codes, or wait on aging A/R. You treat. We bill.

One patient at a time, in their home

No overlapping appointments. No three-patients-an-hour productivity quotas. You arrive, you treat one person in their living room or kitchen, and you build real continuity of care across the full plan of care.

For most clinicians in our network, this is the practice model they always wanted — the clinical autonomy of cash pay, with the steady volume of an insurance-based clinic.

PTs and PTAs welcome.

Both roles are essential to in-home care. Here's how they fit together in our model.

Physical Therapists (PT)

You evaluate new auto-injury patients in their home, set the plan of care, and lead treatment progression and discharge planning. You'll mix evaluations and follow-up visits based on the caseload you choose.

Apply as a PT

Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA)

You deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care — therapeutic exercise, manual interventions, neuro re-ed, and patient education — and you communicate progress back to the supervising PT. PTAs are core to our model, not an afterthought.

Apply as a PTA

We handle the back office.

The reason clinicians burn out isn't patients — it's everything around the patient. We take that off your plate.

Scheduling support

Schedulers confirm visits, manage reschedules, and protect your time windows.

PIP & insurance billing

Our billing team verifies coverage, files claims, and handles follow-up.

Documentation tools

Note templates and a plan-of-care workflow built for in-home visits.

Credentialing help

We walk you through onboarding, credentialing, and the paperwork to get started.

What affects your earnings.

Pay is per visit, and per-visit rates vary by region and visit type. Three things shape what a typical month looks like:

  • Visits per week

You decide how many you'll take. More visits, more pay.

  • Your service radius

A wider radius opens up more nearby patients.

  • Visit type & mix

Evaluations and follow-up visits are billed differently.

Want specific rates for your county?

We share per-visit rates one-on-one so the numbers reflect your actual service area. Earnings vary and aren't guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions.

Is this a W-2 job or a 1099 contract?
Independent contractor (1099). You contract directly with PT Near Me and submit visits as a self-employed clinician — no employee benefits, but full flexibility over your schedule and caseload.
How does pay work?
Paid per completed visit. You set how many visits you want to take each week, and your pay scales with the work you accept. We discuss specific per-visit rates by region during your intake call.
Do you contract PTAs, or only PTs?
Both. Florida-licensed PTs evaluate patients and write the plan of care; Florida-licensed PTAs deliver skilled treatment under that plan. Both roles are core to the in-home model and both are welcome to apply.
How does Florida PIP / auto-insurance billing affect me?
It doesn't — we handle it. Our billing team verifies PIP and MedPay, files the claims, and manages follow-up. You document the visit, we handle the rest.
What will my schedule look like?
You set your availability — days, time windows, and how many visits per week you'll take. Our schedulers match you with patients in your area who fit those windows.
What area will I cover?
Around your home base, within a service radius you choose. We never assign visits outside your stated coverage area.
What support do I get with documentation and scheduling?
Dedicated schedulers handle patient outreach and visit confirmations, and our documentation tools are designed for in-home visits — note templates, plan-of-care workflows, and a clinical lead on call when you need a second set of eyes.
