Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Jobs in Pembroke Pines, FL — In-Home

Posted August 15, 2026 · PT Near Me · Contract / PRN / Part-time · Pay $60–70/hr

Pembroke Pines anchors a dense slice of west Broward — I-75, Pines Boulevard, and the 441 corridor all funnel auto-injury and post-surgical referrals through the area. Patient density is high, which means tight routes and minimal windshield time.

From a Pembroke Pines base, our PTAs commonly cover Miramar, Hollywood, Davie, Cooper City, and Weston, with optional reach into Plantation and Sunrise. It's an excellent territory for PTAs who want a steady caseload without long highway drives.

Job description

PT Near Me is a Florida in-home physical therapy company. Our own licensed clinicians treat injury and post-accident patients one-on-one in their homes. We're hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team and deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes — a strong fit for a motivated PTA who values autonomy, flexible scheduling, and patient-centered care, with competitive per-visit pay, hours you set, and the freedom to add visits whenever you want. We handle scheduling and the administrative back-office so you can focus on treating.

What you'll do

  • Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients' homes — therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
  • Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
  • Keep every home visit safe and professional.
  • Treat a range of cases — post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.

What you need

  • Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
  • Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
  • Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to manage your time and service area independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients regain function at home.
  • Home-based care experience preferred.

What we offer

  • Competitive per-visit pay (rates discussed by region during intake).
  • Flexible scheduling — set your own hours and caseload.
  • Minimal commute — patients in their homes, near you.
  • Scheduling and administrative back-office handled for you.
  • Supportive team and streamlined documentation tools.

Job type: Contract / PRN / Part-time. Specialty: Home Health / in-home rehab. Location: On the road, in patients' homes.

Florida-licensed PTs and PTAs.
