Physical Therapist (PT) Jobs in Largo, FL — In-Home

Posted August 19, 2026 · PT Near Me · Contract / PRN / Part-time · Pay $60–100/hr

Largo sits in the densest part of Pinellas County, and that density is the whole appeal for a PT: patients cluster within a few miles, so you can carry a full eval schedule with barely any driving. The caseload leans total joints, balance and fall prevention, and post-collision recovery along US-19 and Ulmerton Road.

From a Largo base our PTs commonly cover Seminole, Pinellas Park, Belleair, Clearwater, and Indian Rocks Beach. Many patients live in single-story homes and 55+ communities where home assessment changes the plan of care in useful, concrete ways.

Job description

PT Near Me is a Florida in-home physical therapy company. Our own licensed clinicians treat injury and post-accident patients one-on-one in their homes. We're hiring a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team — evaluate new patients in their home, author the plan of care, and lead progression and discharge. A strong fit for a PT who values clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and patient-centered care, with competitive per-visit pay, hours you set, and the freedom to add visits whenever you want. We handle scheduling and the administrative back-office so you can focus on treating.

What you'll do

  • Perform initial in-home evaluations for post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.
  • Author and update the plan of care — goals, frequency, interventions, and discharge criteria.
  • Deliver skilled treatment one-on-one in the patient's home — therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait and balance training.
  • Lead progression, modify the plan as patients respond, and coordinate discharge.
  • Direct and supervise PTA visits in accordance with Florida practice act requirements.
  • Document evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately.

What you need

  • Doctorate or Master's from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Active Florida PT license (or license-eligible).
  • Strong clinical reasoning across orthopedic, neuromuscular, and post-trauma cases.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to manage your time and service area independently.
  • Comfort owning the plan of care for in-home patients with limited equipment.
  • Home-based or outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.

What we offer

  • Competitive per-visit pay (evaluation and follow-up rates discussed by region during intake).
  • Flexible scheduling — set your own hours and caseload.
  • Minimal commute — patients in their homes, near you.
  • Scheduling and administrative back-office handled for you.
  • Supportive team and streamlined documentation tools.

Job type: Contract / PRN / Part-time. Specialty: Home Health / in-home rehab. Location: On the road, in patients' homes.

Florida-licensed PTs and PTAs.
